Crossings Park

People for Parks first project was to raise $350,000 for construction funding deficit of the Crossings Park. The committee not only raised the $350,000, it also raised an additional $150,000, which went to the Crossing Park.


Bristol Sports Arena 

The second project taken on by the Committee was the development of Roller Hockey/Basketball facility. The Committee raised $100,000 of the $650,000 needed to complete the park.


Skate Park

The third completed project was the development of a Skate Park. People for Parks raised $35,000 of the $150,000 needed to develop the Park. The Park opened September of this year.


Chaplin Park

The most completed project was to raise $384,000 for the development of Chaplin Park. The estimated cost to build this park was $3.6 million. The committee worked with several other groups such as the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, Hilton Head Island Tennis Association and Hilton Head Dog Park Association to help us raise the $384,000.
